What is it?

Appello is a comprehensive solution for field operations management, aiming to simplify workforce management, digitize documentation, and streamline compliance processes. It offers features like real-time reporting, project planning, workforce scheduling, financial management, and equipment tracking, all designed to enhance productivity and efficiency in fieldwork environments.

What was my responsibility

As a founding engineer, I was responsible for building the platform from the ground up. My role encompassed both front-end and back-end development, API setup, resolving bugs, feature enhancement, and creating test cases to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for Appello's customers.

Building Appello from the Ground Up

As a founding engineer at Appello, I was instrumental in building the platform from scratch. Due to our small team size, my responsibilities spanned across front-end and back-end development, API setup, bug resolution, and writing test cases to ensure a high-quality user experience. This journey provided me with hands-on exposure to various facets of software development, allowing me to grow significantly over the past three years.

Growth and Recognition

This period transformed me from an amateur developer into a senior engineer, equipping me with a solid understanding of both technical and business aspects of software creation. Our application has garnered recognition, featuring in articles such as London Inc. Magazine and is now actively used across North America, including the U.S. This achievement is a testament to our commitment to delivering a powerful solution for field operations management.
